From Idea to Reality

What do I do with the five (or less) spare minutes I have every day, or once a week?

I have sought to combine my workmanlike writing habit with my love of tinkering with things I don’t understand very well. In this case html & css, one frustrating trial and error after another.

When I read Steven Pressfield, I have to face the fact that there are things I want to do which are (maybe) far more important than the things I’m actually doing, even if they aren’t in any way remunerative. “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be”: in this case, writing is its own reward.

I had this idea about a year ago (see scribbled picture above), and with said five minutes here and there, have managed to put this together. It might not be much, but it’s mine. Inspiration is life in general and the challenge of trying to live it well. More specifically, a few authors and websites have given me a leg up to get to this point, but I don’t want to name-drop here. They will be honoured in due course.

I set myself the goal of ‘launching’ by the end of march, so here it is:

No Friction. No Fiction.

Because:

Reality denied comes back to haunt.
